Get your passports ready, BBN. John Calipari and the Kentucky Wildcats are going to Canada, participating in the 2023 GLOBL JAM in Toronto scheduled for July 12-16.

It will be a first look at the upcoming 2023-24 roster featuring Kentucky’s top-ranked recruiting class against international competition, an Under-23 tournament featuring the United States, Canada, Germany and Team Africa in a round-robin event. The Wildcats will represent Team USA.

“We’ll have some summer play against good competition to figure out where we are,” UK head coach John Calipari said of the event back in March. “It’s a good start for us.”

Official details will be released next week, but KSR got the go-ahead from event organizers to release some early information to get BBN prepared for the event exactly three months away.

Kentucky Basketball Schedule

When will the Wildcats be playing? It will be a three-game round-robin schedule leading up to a potential Gold Medal matchup to close out the event. If the United States does not make the title game, there will also be a Bronze Medal game on the final day, as well.
