Kentucky Track phenom Sydney McLaughlin shatters 400H collegiate record

by:Jack Pilgrim05/13/18

The Wildcat freshman just broke the record for the fastest 400M Hurdle time in collegiate history with 52.75.
In the process, McLaughlin destroyed the World U20 time and broke Shamier Little’s time of 53.21 set at the 2013 NCAA Championships to become No. 13 on the all-time world list.
At 52.75, McLaughlin is just 0.41 seconds away from becoming the fastest woman hurdler in the world.

And another angle:

Oh, and she’s just 18.

Enjoy her while you can, Big Blue Nation. Before long, Nike is going to send McLaughlin a blank check and beg her to turn professional.

The Cats have a legend in the making.
