Kentucky Travelers Fare Well in Peach Jam
As a side note to all the Peach Jam recruiting notes we've been shoving down your throat this week, it's been a pleasant surprise to watch the Kentucky Travelers succeed at a high level of basketball. Although the team lost in overtime to the Meanstreets today (THESE NAMES Y'ALL) and didn't finish high enough to advance out of their pool, the Travelers ended the event 2-3, with two games going to overtime (a win and a loss apiece there).
Guard James Bolden
The Travelers were led throughout the weekend by Justin Johnson (2014) and James "Beetle" Bolden (2015). Bolden has offers from Xavier, Purdue, and Ohio University and hopes to take his unofficial visit to Kentucky very soon; Johnson has been favoring Western Kentucky, Winthrop, Oklahoma State, Boston College, Virginia Tech and Tennessee- but his options could be expanding even more after his strong showing this weekend. Keep an eye on two Kentucky natives doing big things.
