What a half for the Kentucky Wildcats. We’ve seen some flaws exposed, Florida dominating on the glass early — especially offensively — while scoring at will inside. It didn’t help the poor free-throw shooting returned for the Cats, knocking down just three of seven attempts at the break.

None of it mattered, though, as Kentucky turned two double-digit scoring runs into a 10-point lead at the break with the score sitting at 52-42 in favor of the good guys.

It’s been the Koby Brea and Otega Oweh show, the former leading the Cats with 14 points on 5-7 shooting and the latter close behind with 10 points on 4-6 shooting. Jaxson Robinson is starting to heat up, too, adding nine points on 4-7 shooting while Lamont Butler has been a pest defensively while scoring seven points and dishing out four assists with two steals.

Walter Clayton Jr., unsurprisingly, leads the Gators with 10 points on 3-6 shooting while Rueben Chinyelu has added 10 points and six boards as a beast inside. Alex Condon is right behind with seven points and six rebounds himself, followed by Alijah Martin with six points.

As a team, Kentucky is shooting a blistering 56.8 percent from the field and 43.8 percent from three while Florida is hitting 48.4 percent of its attempts overall and 29.4 percent from deep.

The stats to monitor: 21 rebounds for the Gators, 18 for the Wildcats. Nine fastbreak points for UK, zero for UF. 16 bench points for the home team, seven for the road team.

Take a look at the complete box score:

20 minutes to the finish line. Keep it up, Cats.
