On August 27, the SEC announced new start dates and formats for upcoming fall sports outside of football, including the likes of volleyball, soccer, cross country, golf and tennis.

Less than two weeks later, the UK volleyball program has put together and announced its complete fall schedule.

Per SEC rules, schools are only allowed to play eight volleyball matches per team that count toward the 2020-21 SEC Volleyball Championship, with a start date of Oct. 16 and an end date of Nov. 27.

In roughly a month and a half, every team will play four different opponents, including two matches per weekend against a single team.

The Wildcats will begin the season at Memorial Coliseum on Friday, Oct. 16 at 7 p.m. ET against Tennessee, followed by a second matchup against the Volunteers on Saturday, Oct. 17.

From there, Kentucky will head to Columbia, Missouri to take on Mizzou for back-to-back matchups on Wednesday, Oct. 28 and Thursday, Oct. 29, with both matches taking place at 9 p.m. ET.

Moving on to the second half of the schedule, Kentucky will take on Auburn at Memorial Coliseum on Saturday, Nov. 7 and Sunday, Nov. 8 before closing out the season at Mississippi State on Thursday, Nov. 12 and Friday, Nov. 13.

Here’s the full schedule in all its glory:

Last season, the Wildcats finished with a 25-7 overall record, including 16-2 in conference play en route to the program’s third-straight Southeastern Conference championship and a Sweet Sixteen appearance in the 2019 NCAA Tournament.

While we won’t get a full fall season, some volleyball is better than no volleyball, right?
