Don't call it a comeback.
Backed against the ropes, trailing two sets to none, Kentucky clawed its way back to life to defeat Western Kentucky in five sets. The No. 4 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament took a haymaker at home, falling to the Toppers 25-16 in the first set. WKU squeaked out a 25-22 win in the third set, but from that point forward it was all Cats everything.
Leah Edmond led the offensive attack with 21 kills and the Cats closed the second round match with 25-19, 25-21 and 15-12 victories to knock out WKU.
The 27-3 Wildcats advance to the Sweet 16 and will host the winner of BYU-Oregon. You can get your tickets to the Regional Championship at Memorial Coliseum
