Week 9 Depth Charts
Five Pregame Storylines
- Huge Freeze under the weather: Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze was too sick to travel with his team to Lexington.
- Kentucky’s last home SEC game: Kentucky could go winless in SEC games at Kroger Field, where the Wildcats have already lost 10 of 12 heading into the Auburn game.
- Kentucky’s bowl streak in trouble: Kentucky has been to a school record eight consecutive bowl games under Mark Stoops, but a loss to Auburn would make a difficult path for a ninth in a row.
- Auburn’s four-game losing streak: Auburn has its own problems, losers of four in a row. The Tigers are winless in the conference and desperate for a victory.
- Kentucky badly injured: As the aforementioned injury report shows, Kentucky is without several key players, including its top two running backs. Star defensive lineman Deone Walker appeared on the injury report for the first time, too.
Uniform Combination
Kentucky will wear the chrome domes with blue uniforms for its final SEC home game.
