Kentucky vs. Florida at The Swamp is officially sold out
Gainesville is going to be extra rowdy on Saturday night.
Three days away from kickoff, No. 12 Florida announced on Wednesday that this weekend’s matchup against No. 20 Kentucky is officially sold out. Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, otherwise known as “The Swamp”, holds over 88,000 people with a record attendance once clearing 90,000 fans in 2015 against Florida State.
Kentucky will take on Florida at 7:00 p.m. EST this Saturday on ESPN. The Gators also sold out last weekend’s home win over Utah.

Florida has won 20 of the last 21 meetings against Kentucky when the game is played at The Swamp. The lone win for the Wildcats came in 2018 when UK beat the Gators 27-16, ending a losing streak that dated back to 1986 and a road losing streak stretching back to 1979. This will also be the first time since 1952 that both teams are ranked by the AP Poll while playing in Gainesville.
Kentucky famously earned its first home win over Florida since 1986 last season in a 20-13 win at Kroger Field. Can the ‘Cats make it back-to-back victories over the Gators (for the first time since 1976-77) on Saturday in front of a packed crowd?
