Kentucky vs. Louisville Baseball postponed due to weather
It doesn’t look like Mother Nature will play ball, so the Battle of the Bluegrass has been pushed back a day. Kentucky Baseball just announced that tonight’s game between the No. 12 Cats and the Louisville Cardinals has been postponed to Wednesday night, weather permitting.
First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET and further details will be shared as they become available. Per UK’s Ticket Office policy, in the case of a delay or cancellation, the ticket(s) issued for that game will be honored for the date of the makeup game or refunded if the makeup game is not played (some exclusions apply).
Kentucky Basketball (24-4, 8-1 SEC) is on a heater, winning 12 of its last 13 games, including a three-game sweep of Ole Miss in Oxford last weekend. The Bat Cats are ranked as high as No. 12 in the polls (Perfect Game) and sit atop the SEC East standings at 8-1. Louisville is 17-11 this season, 3-6 in ACC play, and coming off a series loss at Florida State. The Cardinals won the only meeting between the two programs last season 7-0 at Kentucky Proud Park.
We’ll put our Ls Down tomorrow. Today, everyone stay safe and weather-aware. It’s ugly out there.
