It’ll be an afternoon kick for the 34th Governor’s Cup. Game times for the final week of the regular season were just released and Kentucky vs. Louisville will kick off at 3 p.m. on Saturday, November 26 at Kroger Field. The game will air on SEC Network.
Kentucky has won the last three vs. Louisville and leads the overall series 18-15. Last year’s 52-21 romp in Cardinal Stadium was particularly satisfying, with Will Levis scoring four touchdowns and throwing his Ls down at every opportunity. A year later, the mood surrounding the game is vastly different. Even though Kentucky is already bowl-eligible, one could argue the Cats need the victory more than the Cards to save a little bit of face after an embarrassing skid. Plus, you know, bragging rights.
