Kentucky is preparing to hit the road for the first time in 2024. The Wildcats have a tall task ahead of them against fifth-ranked Ole Miss. Now we have a better idea of who will be available when the two teams take the field at Noon EST on ABC.

This fall the SEC has implemented mandatory availability reports for league games. First released Wednesday night, they are updated daily, with the final report shared 90 minutes prior to kickoff. Players must be listed as out (0% chance to play), doubtful (25% chance to play), questionable (50% chance to play), or probable (75% chance to play).

Kentucky Injury Report

Chip Trayanum was been cleared to return to the practice, but still appears on the availability report as doubtful after missing the first four games of the season with a broken hand. Another running back, freshman Jason Patterson, has been sidelined for the last two games, as has starting left guard Jager Burton. Neither appears on this week’s availability report.

Ole Miss Injury Report

This is the first time Lane Kiffin has published an injury report. He’s throwing about a quarter of his team on it. TWENTY-SIX players are listed, many of which are probable.

Even though the Rebels have easily dispatched each foe they have faced by an average of 50 points per game, they’ve been shorthanded, particularly on the offensive line. Caleb Warren, Gerquan Scott, and Jeremy James were all projected starters. James is the only one who has made an appearance this fall and he broke his hand in week one. Starting defensive tackle JJ Pegues suffered a shoulder injury in last week’s win over Georgia Southern.
