The wait is almost over. Kentucky football is about ready to take the field for some Week 2 action. The South Carolina Gamecocks come to town this weekend for what will be a massive matchup for the Wildcats. A win sets up Kentucky for a potentially special season — a loss would be tough to swallow.

But before we focus too much on what’s at stake (we have all weekend for that), we have to get ourselves even more amped up than we already are. And what better way to do that than by watching the official hype video from the folks over at UK Sports Video?

We’re treated to some blasts from the past, too. The video transitions between the old school and the new school. Mixed in between some highlights of Kentucky’s season-opening win against Southern Miss from over the weekend are clips from the Wildcats’ past wins over South Carolina throughout Mark Stoops‘ tenure, including Stephen Johnson with his tongue out and the start of the Grove St. Party era (featuring Bud Dupree‘s pick-6).

Now let’s get ready for kickoff. Kentucky vs. South Carolina will start around 3:45 p.m. EST tomorrow on ABC.
