HIGHLIGHTS: Top plays from Kentucky vs. Stonehill
Give Stonehill credit — the Skyhawks started off hot and were not afraid to shoot. Stonehill started the game 5-0 and led Kentucky 12-11 four minutes in. I hope they have that footage saved because from there, it was all Cats. Led by a combined 45 points from freshmen Reed Sheppard and Rob Dillingham, Kentucky beat Stonehill 101-67 to improve to 3-1 on the season, 2-0 in the Wildcat Challenge.
On the heels of Kentucky’s promising performance vs. Kansas, this was another very fun game to watch. Kentucky finished with 17 threes on a 63.9% clip and 26 assists on 39 made field goals. Those are video game numbers. Sheppard accounted for seven of those threes, the most by a Wildcat in a single game since Kellan Grady in 2022 and the same amount his father made in his entire freshman season. He finished with a game-high 25 points on 9-10 from the floor, 7 assists, 3 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 blocks. The legend is reborn.
Lots of fun moments in this one. See the top plays below.
