Kentucky vs. Tennessee kickoff time, TV network set
No one wants to think about this right now, but the SEC just updated game times and TV networks for next Saturday. Kentucky vs. Tennessee will kick off at 7:45 p.m. ET on the SEC Network at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville. This will be the fourth week in a row that the Cats have played in the 7:45 p.m. SEC Network slot.
You know what’s going on with Kentucky. While the Cats dropped their third straight and fourth SEC game at home to Auburn, Tennessee was on a bye. The Vols are 6-1 this season, 3-1 in the SEC, the only loss coming at Arkansas on Oct. 5. The Volunteers are coming off back-to-back wins over Florida and Alabama, the latter of which boosted them to No. 7 in the AP Poll. Their offense may not be as high-flying as it appeared early in the season, but they will undoubtedly be favored against Kentucky, which is spiraling after consecutive losses to Vanderbilt, Florida, and Auburn. Barring an upset for the ages, a bowl game seems very much out of the picture.
Brace yourself for a long night in Knoxville.
