The wait is almost over. Kentucky will soon tip off in the SEC Tournament quarterfinals against Texas A&M. Before the Wildcats seek out vengeance for an early-season loss to the Aggies, take a closer look at all of the noteworthy numbers in this matchup.

1 — Previous meeting between Kentucky and Texas A&M in the SEC Tournament. Tyler Ulis scored 30 points, while Derek Willis and Jamal Murray each netted three three-pointers in the 82-77 overtime win in the 2016 SEC Championship Game.

2 — SEC Tournament wins by Kentucky since the Wildcats won their last conference tournament back in 2018.

5 — Quad 1 wins for Texas A&M and six losses. They could add a sixth Quad 1 win with a victory over Kentucky.

7 — Straight games with 20+ points for Antonio Reeves. He’s shot better than 50% from the field in five of those games.

9.6 — Rebounds per game by Andersson Garcia, the most in the SEC. The former Mississippi State Bulldog also leads the league in offensive rebounds per game with 4.5. He had 14 rebounds against Ole Miss, becoming just the third player in school history with 300+ rebounds in a season.

10 — More steals from Reed Sheppard will give him a new school record. He currently has 78, trailing only Wayne Turner (1997) and Rajon Rondo (2005).

15.5 — Offensive rebounds per game by Texas A&M are the most in college basketball. They also are tops in offensive rebounding percentage (42.4%).

24 — Career SEC Tournament wins by John Calipari, the third-most by a coach. If he picks up three this weekend, he’ll tie Billy Donovan for the most all-time.

37 — Percent chance Texas A&M will win, according to KenPom.

41.2 — Three-point percentage by Kentucky is the best in college basketball. The Cats also rank second in scoring, third in blocks per game, and fifth in fast break points.

49.7 — Field goal percentage by the Wildcats ranks fourth nationally.

59 — Combined points scored by Tyrece Radford and Wade Taylor in the first matchup against Kentucky, an overtime win in College Station. A&M is 7-1 this season when Radford scores 20+ points. Taylor has scored 20+ points ten times.

307 — Made three-pointers by Kentucky are the third-most in school history. Only Pitino’s teams in 1992 and ’93 made more.
