Tip off between the Cats and the Commodores is approaching at a snail’s pace. Before Kentucky and Vanderbilt face off for the third time this season at the SEC Tournament, take a closer look at the numbers behind the matchup.

3.08 — Assist to turnover ratio for Vandy’s Ezra Manjon. It’s the best in the SEC and ranks ninth nationally. He’s been even better in SEC play with a 5.0 assist-to-turnover ratio.

5 — Players on the floor tonight have 1,000 career points, and Oscar Tshiebwe is the only Wildcat. Vandy’s Emmanual Ansong, Jordan Wright, Ezra Manjon and the injured Liam Robbins have surpassed the milestone.

10 — Wins for Kentucky and only one loss when Jacob Toppin scores 15 points or more. He’s scored 20+ points four times, most recently tallying 21 in the win at Arkansas.

11 — Wins in SEC play by Vanderbilt were the most since the 2016-17 season. The Commodores are one win away from a 20-win season, just their second in the last 11 years.

13.1 — Rebounds per game by Oscar Tshiebwe are the most in college basketball. He has 18 double-doubles this year, the most in the SEC.

23 — Points for Jordan Wright when Vanderbilt traveled to Kentucky, but the forward only scored 2 in their first matchup in Nashville. He’s averaging 10.3 points and 5.0 rebounds per game this season. His game-winner with 2.3 remaining gave the Commodores only their third ever win at Rupp Arena.

24 — SEC Tournament victories for John Calipari, including six titles. Alabama is the only school in the SEC with more conference tournament championships.

24.2 — Percent difference in Kentucky’s shooting percentage in Nashville (56.4%) and Lexington (32.2%). The Cats were 3 of 19 from three in the home loss to Vandy (15.8%) and 6 of 17 (35.3%) in the road victory.

37 — Points by Antonio Reeves against Arkansas are the third-most by a player in the Calipari era. He’s one of only eight players in Kentucky basketball history with 37+ points in a true road game.
