Kentucky vs. Vanderbilt: Opening Line, How To Watch, Listen to SEC Tournament
Postseason play begins for the Kentucky Wildcats Friday night in Nashville. We are just over 12 hours away from Kentucky’s opening game of the 2023 SEC Tournament at Bridgestone Arena. The Wildcats will get a chance at revenge after Vanderbilt took care of business in a 9-point win over LSU Thursday night.
Kentucky opened as a 5.5-point favorite over Vanderbilt late Thursday night, but that has since grown to UK -7 in many sports books. The total is 145.5.
The Commodores have played their way onto the NCAA Tournament bubble by winning nine of their last ten games, including a 2-point victory over Kentucky on Senior Night. Vandy is 17-14 ATS, covering in eight of their last nine games.
The over is trending for both teams. Over their last eight games the over has hit just under 70% of the time for Kentucky and Vanderbilt.
Kentucky and Vanderbilt split the regular season series, with each road team securing a victory. The Wildcats shot 56% from the floor in Nashville, but struggled to only make 32% of their attempts (15.8% 3FG) a week ago in Lexington. Some of those struggles could be attributed to the loss of Cason Wallace. Kentucky struggled to find its offensive identity when the point guard sprained his ankle early in the second half. That was not the case a few days later when UK scored 88 at Arkansas.
