Fresh off a bye, Kentucky (3-2, 1-2) is back home at Kroger Field today, hosting college football’s Cinderella, Vanderbilt (3-2, 1-1). Vandy rides high into Lexington as the talk of the sport after upsetting No. 1 Alabama a week ago, launching quarterback Diego Pavia into Heisman consideration.
Kentucky’s defense versus Pavia will likely decide tonight’s outcome, and the Wildcats will have to do it without All-SEC cornerback Max Hairston. Still, Kentucky went into sixth-ranked Ole Miss and stole a win in Oxford before the bye weekend, so the Cats enter this one with momentum, too. Let’s talk about the game with many things to know.
