Kentucky WBB announces 2023-24 SEC opponents
The 2023-24 schedule for Kentucky women’s basketball is beginning to take shape.
On Wednesday morning, the Southeastern Conference released its home-and-away assignments for the upcoming season. As usual, Kentucky will face 16 intraconference opponents — eight at home (which will be at Rupp Arena or Transylvania’s Clive M. Beck Center this season while Memorial Coliseum is undergoing renovations) and eight on the road. The ‘Cats will play a trio of SEC teams twice for home-and-homes: South Carolina (permanent opponent), Mississippi State, and Arkansas.
Dates, venue locations, and tip times will be announced at a later date. Below is the full list of Kentucky’s SEC opponents for the ’23-24 season.

Looking at the SEC schedule as a whole, facing South Carolina — which will once again be projected as a top 10 team this season — is not ideal but going up against Mississippi State and Arkansas twice isn’t a terrible draw. The Wildcats will host Ole Miss, another team projected as a top 25 program, at Rupp/Beck Center but hit the road to take on Tennessee and defending champion LSU. Both the Volunteers and Tigers will begin the season with national rankings, LSU likely as the preseason No. 1.
We even found out about another opponent this season for Kentucky WBB after the SEC/ACC Challenge was also announced on Wednesday morning. The Wildcats will host Boston College on Thursday, Nov. 30 at 7:00 p.m. EST.
Additionally, Kyra Elzy’s squad will head down to the U.S. Virgin Islands during the week of Thanksgiving for a trio of games from Nov. 23-25. UK will face NC State, Colorado (also projected in the top 25), and Cincinnati during that stretch.
