Kentucky WBB offers No. 12 prospect in 2026, 6-foot-2 wing Bella Ragone
The Kenny Brooks train just keeps rolling along. Just as Kentucky women’s basketball picked a commitment from Charlotte transfer Dazia Lawrence, we find out that the ‘Cats are in the hunt for another super-talented player — though this one isn’t in college yet.
On Sunday, class of 2026 five-star prospect Isabella “Bella” Ragone announced that she received an offer from Kentucky. The 6-foot-2 Ragone also holds offers from the likes of Notre Dame, UCLA, and Louisville, among others.
Ragone is ranked as the No. 12 overall player in the 2026 class by ESPN with a scouting grade of 96. The five-star wing also happens to be the highest-ranked player from the state of Georgia. If that last name sounds familiar, that’s probably because it should.
Both of Bella’s parents, Dave Ragone and Marju Sober, played for the Louisville Cardinals back in their college days. Dave played quarterback for the Cards, and he is currently the QB Coach for the Los Angeles Rams in the NFL.
Meanwhile, Marju played for the women’s basketball team. She became the first player in program history to win conference Player of the Week three times in a single season.

As for Bella, she was a MaxPreps Freshman All-American in 2022-23 after averaging 20.2 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 2.0 steals per outing as a freshman. It’s only been up from there.
Ragone has been regarded as one of the best players in the class for as long as people have started scouting it. She provides a level of versatility that would make an immediate impact at any program.
She’s already on the radars of many coaches and power programs, and Kentucky is the latest to join that list.
