Kentucky WBB stays at No. 14 in AP Poll following Music City Classic
Kentucky went 2-0 in the Music City Classic, taking down Arizona State and Illinois who, at the time of the game, was the No. 19 team in the country. Against Arizona State, it was Clara Strack who took over and willed the team to a win. The 6-foot-5 center scored 24 points and recorded 10 rebounds to add to the stat sheet. Those 24 points were the most a Kentucky player had scored in a game this season, but Strack went out and topped that the next day.

The sophomore scored 25 points against Illinois, while also grabbing 15 rebounds and dishing out four assists along the way. She shot 12-18 (1-3 3PT) from the field — not only putting up great numbers, but doing it efficiently too.
Kentucky will look to justify a potential new ranking in the next poll when they face No. 16 North Carolina in Chapel Hill on Thursday.
