Barion Brown, one of the most explosive players in college football, has entered the transfer portal after three seasons at Kentucky.

The junior wide receiver made the announcement on Thursday.

“I want to start by expressing my gratitude to Coach Stoops and the University of Kentucky for allowing me to be part of such an incredible program and community,” Brown wrote. “The experiences, lessons, and relationships I’ve gained during my time here will stay with me forever. Thank you to my teammates, coaches, and the entire Kentucky staff for their unwavering support and belief in me. You’ve all helped me grow both as an athlete and as a person, and I couldn’t be more appreciative. I also want to thank God for guiding me every step of the way and giving me the strength to pursue my dreams.

“After much thought, prayer, and conversations with my family, I’ve decided to enter the transfer portal for my final year of eligibility. Thank you for everything, Big Blue Nation.”
