Kentucky WR target Brandon Rehmann commits to West Virginia
One of Kentucky’s primary wide receiver targets has come off the board.
On Tuesday night, class of 2024 pass-catcher Brandon Rehamnn announced his commitment to the West Virginia Mountaineers. Considered a three-star recruit and the No. 657 overall rising senior in the country per the On3 Industry Ranking, Rehmann took an official visit to both WVU (June 2) and Kentucky (June 6) earlier in the month.
The Philadelphia (PA) St. Joseph’s product is the eighth ’24 commit for Neal Brown’s group. UK was the first Division I offer for Rehmann, which he earned in May 2022.
Kentucky and offensive coordinator Liam Coen appear to be taking their time when it comes to recruiting wide-outs. The ‘Cats have recently missed out on the likes of Rehmann and three-star Emanuel Ross, who committed to Stanford last week. But with high-level quarterback play now under center for UK and four-star QB Cutter Boley on the way, there is more wiggle room to search for the perfect match.

Over the weekend, Kentucky hosted 6-foot-5 WR Shamar Rigby and will host three-star WR Antonio White for an official visit beginning on Thursday. UK even hosted three-star WR Dorian Williams on an unofficial visit earlier this week. There are still plenty of options out there for the ‘Cats.
Of note, while on his official visit to Kentucky last week, Rehmann was joined by one of his St. Joseph teammates, David Washington Jr. — also a three-star wide receiver — who came to Lexington as a surprise midweek visitor. Washington Jr. is considered the No. 794 overall rising senior according to the On3 Industry Ranking and holds offers from the likes of Michigan State, Ole Miss, Oregon, Wisconsin, Virginia, and Louisville, along with the Wildcats. He’ll be one to monitor moving forward.
