Kentucky's Sahvir Wheeler out with ankle injury vs. Arkansas

Kentucky will be shorthanded going into the team’s matchup vs. Arkansas on Tuesday, as point guard Sahvir Wheeler will be out with an ankle injury.
The issue popped up this week, with the senior guard tweaking his ankle in practice leading up to the matchup against the Razorbacks. John Calipari initially said Wheeler was a game-time decision, with the school declaring him out shortly after.
“It’ll be a game-time decision, but he limped pretty good in there,” Calipari said on his pregame radio show. “We’ll have to do what we did against Tennessee and play without him.”

Tom Leach went on to say the injury occurred during a drill in practice on Monday and Wheeler will go through treatment to determine his status moving forward.
In Wheeler’s absence, the Wildcats will roll out the same starting lineup we’ve seen during Kentucky’s six-game SEC winning streak, with Cason Wallace, CJ Fredrick, Chris Livingston, Jacob Toppin and Oscar Tshiebwe getting things rolling. Antonio Reeves, Lance Ware, Daimion Collins, Adou Thiero and Ugonna Onyenso will be available off the bench.
Tip-off coming up at 9 p.m. ET.
