This combination is actually the same one that Kentucky used in the program’s last Gator Bowl appearance during the 2020 postseason, a 23-21 win over NC State. Luckily, UK ditched the checkerboard shoulder pads from that game.
Kickoff between Kentucky and Clemson is set for Friday, Dec. 29 in Jacksonville, FL at noon EST on ESPN. UK is currently a 4.5-point underdog, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
