Kevin Durant lends advice to Tyrese Maxey and Zion Harmon
One future Wildcat and another major Kentucky target got some advice from a pretty important individual recently.
Kentucky five-star commitment Tyrese Maxey and 2021 in-state phenom Zion Harmon sat down with NBA superstar Kevin Durant to talk about the grind of the NBA season and just how important it is for talented guards like them to lift their teammates up at all times.
He also talked about how deep the point guard position is in the league and how they can prepare to separate themselves from the pack in the future.
Take a look at the conversation below:

It’s not the first time Durant has broken down the game of a Wildcat. He did it before with Tyler Herro.

“Tyler Herro, going to Kentucky, gotta be a pro if you go there, right?” he said.
And again with Keldon Johnson.
“You talk about a scorer, this guy’s it,” Durant said. “I think the next step for him though is just figuring out how to play at each level he goes to — figuring out the team game cause he’s got everything you need one-on-one,” Durant said. “That’s just my analysis.”
He continued about Johnson’s ability to score in a hurry.
“If you need a scorer, man, this guy’s who you need,” Durant said. “And he can score points in bunches. Catch and shoots, drives to the rim, finishing under the basket, off the catch, yeah. Can handle the ball out in pick-and-roll. Once he figures the pick-and-roll out at the size, yeah he can be nice.”
One of the best players in the world taking interest in our beloved Wildcats. Not too shabby at all.
