Kevin Love rocks Kentucky blue after losing bet to Bam Adebayo

Former Kentucky standout Bam Adebayo and UCLA legend Kevin Love are teammates on the Miami Heat, but enemies in March.
The forward duo made a friendly bet going into the NCAA Tournament, picking their teams to make deeper runs on college basketball’s biggest stage. Whoever lost first between the Wildcats and Bruins, the loser had to wear the other team’s gear and post it on social media.
Adebayo called his shot before the Big Dance.
“Say less, Kev. I accept. When we make a deeper run, you’re going to be wearing this Kentucky gear.”

As Mark Pope and the Cats head to Indianapolis just two wins away from the Final Four, Love is following through on his promise to rock Kentucky blue.
“I’m a man of my word (Bam Adebayo),” he wrote. “UCLA forever!!!”

“Welcome to #BBN” the official Kentucky men’s basketball account responded.
“HAHA,” Adebayo shared. “You look good in that BBN blue.”

Adebayo was named to the All-SEC Second Team and SEC All-Freshman Team after averaging 13.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game, starting all 38 contests for the Wildcats while leading the team to an SEC Tournament championship and a run to the Elite Eight.
He was drafted No. 14 overall by the Miami Heat in the 2017 NBA Draft where he has since been named to three NBA All-Star Games in 2020, 2023 and 2024. He’s currently averaging 17.5 points, 9.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.3 steals
As for Love, he was the No. 5 overall pick out of UCLA in 2008 with stops in Minnesota, Cleveland, and now, Miami, as a five-time All-Star and two-time All-NBA talent.
For this week, though, Love is a Wildcat.
Can Adebayo find any former Tennessee players to make a bet with for the Sweet 16?
