Koby Brea is the newest member of the 1,000-point club
Kentucky‘s win over Colgate was a special game for Koby Brea. The transfer from Dayton made his first start as a Kentucky Wildcat, filling in for Lamont Butler in the starting lineup. Minutes in, Brea broke out of a multi-game shooting slump when he drained his first of four 3-pointers without a miss in the first half. He hit five 3s in the game to lead the Wildcats in scoring with 17 points, while improving his 3-point shooting average to 56.1% on the season, the second-highest percentage in the country.

Now, let’s get to why the Colgate game was special: Brea’s second 3-pointer was a milestone shot because when it went in, Brea surpassed the 1,000-point mark for his college career. He now has 1,013 career points following his game-high 17 against Colgate.
“God is good,” Brea wrote on Instagram over UK’s 1,000-point club graphic.
