Koby Keenum fakes out Louisville before committing to Kentucky
The No. 3 center in America is a Wildcat, committing to the Kentucky football program over the Louisville Cardinals on Saturday. Koby Keenum becomes the third player to join UK’s 2023 recruiting class this week, following RB Khalifa Keith and four-star DB Avery Stuart.
It’s a significant commitment on the surface, with Zach Yenser adding an anchor to his offensive line in the form of a 6-foot-4, 285-pound center out of Florence, AL. Digging deeper, though, it’s yet another recruiting win over in-state rival Louisville, who prematurely took a victory lap assuming Keenum was set to become a Cardinal.
Not only did Keenum turn down Kentucky’s bitter rival, he did so with his L’s down.
During his commitment ceremony, the three-star lineman pretended to grab the Louisville hat before throwing on a blue Kentucky cap.

Not enough? How about an L’s down while decked out in Kentucky gear in his official commitment video.
“BBN, I’m home,” said Keenum.
Louisville should’ve seen Keenum’s love for Kentucky coming from a mile away. After all, he even threw an L’s down while sporting a complete Louisville uniform — chains and all — during his official visit to the school in June.
Just a few weeks later, Keenum is a Wildcat.
