Can anyone unseat the St. Xavier Tigers?
It’s been several weeks now that St. Xavier has held down the state’s number-one ranking, and that isn’t changing in the Week 10 update. The Tigers have won 11 straight games and have yet to lose against an in-state team all season. With only a couple more weeks remaining in the regular season, Kevin Klein’s squad is poised to enter the postseason on an impressive winning streak.
But outside of St. Xavier, there was plenty of movement in this week’s KSR Top 25 rankings update. Great Crossing is back in the No. 2 spot while Danville Christian Academy and Hazard both jumped into the Top 5. Three new schools broke into the Top 25 after being unranked this time last week. Calloway County (+8) and Adair County (+7) were the biggest risers while Male (-6) saw the biggest drop.
