New year, new rankings!

Less than a week into 2025, we’re officially over a month into the 2024-25 Kentucky high school boys basketball season. Time is flying by fast. Our original rankings have seen plenty of changes since the start of December and this week’s update is no different. St. Xavier is once again holding down the top spot, but we saw Great Crossing climb back into the No. 2 spot while two new schools broke into the back end of the rankings. On top of that, 12 teams in this week’s update saw an increase or decrease of at least three spots within the Top 25. It was another busy stretch of games across the state.
