The 2024 Kentucky high school football playoffs continue to heat up. Second-round action last Friday saw plenty of upsets as a handful of ranked teams were knocked out of the postseason. Round three should be even more exciting.

As we keep the journey to Kroger Field rolling, it’s time for another statewide rankings update. There was a ton of movement in the latest KSR’s Top 25 rankings. Boyle County and Paducah Tilghman hold down the top two spots respectively but 12 teams moved up while three cracked the Top 25 after being unranked this time last week. Three eliminated teams — all from Class 6A — remain in the Top 25, but all saw significant drops in their standing.

We’ve also included a new batch of class-by-class rankings below the statewide Top 25. All six classes have eight teams left in the bracket. Our panel of 10 voters ranked all eight of those teams from each class. Only 48 schools are alive with three more rounds left to play.
