Week 7 of the Kentucky high school football season didn’t feature many upsets, but there was plenty of movement from top to bottom in KSR’s latest Top 25 rankings update.

Three ranked matchups headlined this past week’s action, including the KSR Game of the Week in Lexington that saw Male sneak out with a 31-28 win over Frederick Douglass. Elsewhere, Trinity knocked off Ohio’s St. Xavier in a low-scoring affair while Louisville’s St. Xavier came out with a one-score win over Ryle.

Two new teams entered the Top 25 this week: South Oldham rose all the way to No. 20 while Central reentered the mix at No. 23 overall. Trinity lands at No. 3 after leapfrogging a handful of teams thanks to its big win while Madison Central’s thrilling 28-24 victory over Pulaski County bumped the Indians up a few spots, as well.
