At long last, the 2025 Kentucky Baseball season is finally here. The Wildcats open their season on the road at Lipscomb for a weekend series February 14-16.

The last two seasons have been unbelievable for the Nick Mingione-led Wildcats, who are 86-37 since the start of the 2023 season. Their 69.92% win percentage in that span ranks seventh best in all of College Baseball behind just LSU (70.8%), Clemson (71.54%), Arkansas (71.9%), Wake Forest (73.02%), Tennessee (74.82%), and Virginia (75%).

It will be extremely hard to top the 2024 season, which saw Kentucky win a program record 46 games and make its first ever appearance in the Men’s College World Series. If the Big Blue Nation knows anything about coach Mingione however, he’s all about moving the goalposts.
