Mother Nature forced Week 6 of the Kentucky high school football season into schedule changes all across the state. Instead of the usual Friday Night Lights action, bad weather saw games moved to Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. A handful of Week 6 games won’t be played until Monday night.

But none of the eight teams (four total matchups) hitting the field tonight will factor into our Top 25 rankings update, so we decided to go ahead and release our latest batch. We also have updated class-by-class Top 5 which you can find below.

There were three ranked matchups this week, headlined by the KSR Game of the Week that saw Paducah Tilghman dispatch Allen County-Scottsville, moving the Blue Tornado back to No. 2 in the state as a result. An upset win in Louisville by St. Xavier over Trinity moved the Tigers up to No. 4 and dropped the Shamrocks down to No. 6. The biggest riser this week was Franklin County (up five spots) while the biggest faller was DuPont Manual (down 10 spots). Two new teams, Madison Central and Hart County, broke into the Top 25, as well.
