KSR has a new Kentucky Volleyball podcast for the 2023 season
Kentucky Volleyball begins its run toward another national title on Friday night. With a fresh season now upon us, KSR is taking our volleyball coverage to new heights.
Hunter Mitchell, a graduate of the University of Kentucky and longtime follower of the Wildcats’ volleyball program, has assumed control of our coverage of Craig Skinner’s team. You might have already seen his work pop up on the website in recent weeks. Outside of those directly within the program, there isn’t a more knowledgeable person when it comes to Kentucky Volleyball than Hunter. Not only will he be providing game recaps and weekly writeups of the No. 10-ranked Wildcats, but he’s also taking his voice to the podcast space for in-depth conversation and debate.

Joined by former Kentucky Volleyball great Leah Edmond (2016-20) as his co-host, Hunter has started the “Point Kentucky” podcast with KSR, which will focus solely on the team and everything a fan would need to know about the upcoming season. With the Wildcats set to kick off the schedule on the road against Colorado State later tonight at 9:00 p.m. EST, there’s no better time than now to drop the debut episode.
You can dive into everything Hunter and Leah had to say below. The two talk about their goals for the podcast, Leah’s professional career since graduating UK, last week’s exhibition win over No. 24 Western Kentucky, and much more. We’re excited to continue growing our volleyball coverage with two of the best in the business leading the charge.
