There will be multiple Sweet 16s going on this week in the basketball world, but the one at Rupp Arena will end with a Kentucky state title.

The 2025 UK HealthCare Boys Basketball Sweet 16 begins Wednesday in Lexington and runs through Saturday night. 16 schools from across the state will converge inside Rupp with one team only four wins away from being crowned champions of the Bluegrass.

As we gear up for what’s in store, KSR is releasing a couple of fresh polls. Not only have we ranked the 16 teams that made the state tournament bracket, but we also did our normal Top 25 statewide rankings which accounts for teams both in and out of the tourney.

You can check out both of the pre-Sweet 16 rankings below, along with the schedule for this week’s tournament. Of note, Kentucky commit Malachi Moreno and Great Crossing will start its title run on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. ET against Daviess County.
