KSR Rapidly Reacts to Kentucky's 92-69 exhibition win over Georgetown College
Kentucky men’s basketball’s first exhibition game is officially in the books. The Wildcats used a 22-point second-half advantage to overcome a slow first-half start, winning by a final score of 92-69 against nearby Georgetown College.
UK was paced by 22 points and nine rebounds from veteran big man Tre Mitchell while fellow vet Antonio Reeves chipped in 18 points on 7-15 shooting. Freshman Rob Dillingham wasn’t too far behind with 16 points and five assists in his college basketball debut. As a team, Kentucky shot just under 49 percent overall while going 8-22 (36.4 percent) from beyond the arc. Despite missing all three seven-footers, the ‘Cats still won the rebounding battle 46-32.
Those were just a handful of the top takeaways from Friday night’s win. For more on what happened with the ‘Cats, you can check out KSR’s Rapid Reaction below where Drew Franklin and Zack Geoghegan give their thoughts on everything they saw.
