KSR rapidly reacts to an ugly Kentucky WBB win over Missouri

Not all wins are created equally. Some are big, small, pretty, ugly, but Kentucky has given us a taste of all of those this season, and it was an ugly one against Missouri on the road.
Kentucky held on to beat the Tigers 73-65 as they moved to 21-4 (10-3 SEC) on the year.
It looked like another upset loss to a sub-.500 team was in the works, but Kentucky showed some fight and overcame adversity to get the win. Sure, the rebounding was still a problem — Missouri winning the battle on the boards 39-27 overall and 19-5 on the offensive glass — but Kentucky still managed to get the job done.

A loss to the Tigers could have been very detrimental to Kentucky’s NCAA Tournament resume, but now, there are really no more chances for Kentucky to rack up “bad” losses. Now, the Cats will look to earn some big wins heading into March, and that starts Sunday against No. 7 LSU at home.
