KSR reacts to Kentucky’s loss to Ohio State at MSG
What went wrong in Kentucky’s loss to Ohio State in the CBS Sports Classic? It’d be easier to list the things that went well — because it’s not much. Free throw shooting? That genuinely might be it. The other list includes poor shooting, defense, rebounding, playmaking, pace and will to win, just to name a few.
It’s a third straight loss to the Buckeyes with the Wildcats now 0-3 in New York in this stupid event. For whatever reason, they’ve just forgotten how to win games at Madison Square Garden, no matter who is coaching or playing.

KSR tried putting those frustrations into words immediately following the game — well, after being kicked off the floor because security did not want the court disassembly process on camera, for whatever reason. It was a weird night and we did our best, especially Steven Peake, who didn’t hold back on his gripes regarding his beloved Cats and another loss in the most famous arena in the world.
