KSR Today: Decision Day for 4-Star WR Anthony Brown

The 2023 Kentucky football recruiting class could add another star Saturday afternoon. Wide receiver Anthony Brown will announce his decision at approximately 2 pm ET in Springfield, Oh. The four-star prospect has five finalists: Oklahoma, Michigan, Penn State, Cincinnati and Kentucky. The Wildcats enter decision day as the leaders in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM). Can Vince Marrow seal the deal with an explosive Yahtzee? KSR will keep you covered throughout the afternoon.
Kentucky football recruiting isn’t the only item on the docket for the BBN.
John Calipari’s Signing Tour Ends in Morehead
Kentucky’s head basketball coach has spent his week traveling across the state from Louisville to London to meet the BBN. His signing tour to benefit victims of the Western Kentucky tornados concludes this afternoon at the Kroger in Morehead (300 Kroger Center). Come out to see Coach Cal and I bet you’ll run into a few other Wildcats between Noon-1:30 pm.
Not John Calipari’s Only Stop
Yesterday Coach Cal did not just hang out with Kentucky fans in Somerset. Back in Lexington he visited with Floyd County Sheriff’s Deputy Darrin Lawson, who’s recovering from injuries suffered in the line of duty. Much of Floyd County is grieving, and they are not alone.
Round Three at The Open
The cut was not kind to KSR’s favorites. Tiger Woods got emotional walking down the 18th, while J.T. Poston rode a roller coaster at St Andrews. He scratched and clawed his way back to even-par with a pair of birdies to open up the back nine. Things were looking up until he posted back-to-back bogeys on 15 and 16, forcing him one shot short of making it to the weekend. Golf, it’s an unforgiving game.
Cam Smith, Cameron Young, Rory McIlroy and Viktor Hovland are currently atop the leaderboard, set to begin play in round three a little later this morning.

Ryan Lemond still has a Full Head of Hair
