The Big Blue Nation is picking itself back up on a Monday morning after another disappointing weekend for the Wildcats in Lexington. This week, a trip to seventh-ranked Tennessee is on the schedule, so Kentucky Football will spend the week focused on the Vols before the rivalry game Saturday night.

Like last week, Kentucky Basketball will provide a much-needed distraction from football for a night or more. Mark Pope’s team has one more preseason exhibition before the season officially begins a week from today.

We’ll touch on both sports in our Monday morning conversation. Before we do, please send any information you may have about Noah Kahan’s wallet.

Monday without Mark Stoops

Mark Stoops will not be available on Monday, as he usually is throughout the season. Stoops and his brother, Mike, are home in Youngstown, Ohio, for their mother’s funeral. Evelyn “Dee” Stoops passed away last week.

In Stoops’ place, coordinators Brad White and Bush Hamdan will handle the Monday afternoon press conference to preview Tennessee Week and to take questions about the loss to Auburn. Later tonight, Vince Marrow will fill in for Stoops on Stoops’ weekly call-in radio show with Tom Leach.
