Good morning, Big Blue Nation. The sun is shining just a little brighter today down here in Tennessee, where we are reveling in the Titans’ miraculous comeback victory over the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football. In case you missed it, the Titans scored 15 unanswered points in the final four minutes to stun the Dolphins 28-27. Coming into the night, Miami was tied with Baltimore for the top seed in the AFC. Thanks in large part to Will Levis, not anymore.

Levis was superb, leading the Titans on the first fourth-quarter, come-from-behind scoring drive of his young career. He finished with 327 passing yards, the most by a rookie in Monday Night Football history. It was the first 300-yard passing game of his NFL career and the first win by a team down 14 with under three minutes to do since 2016. Previously, teams in that situation were 0-767.

The first former Kentucky quarterback to ever start a Monday Night Football game, Levis was the talk of the broadcast, drawing praise from the ESPN crew, including Dan Orlovsky, who called him the best player on the field. He was a viral sensation in the final minutes, celebrating on the sideline with his coaches and on the field with his teammates after.

“I hope America liked what they saw,” Levis said afterward. “I think we showed them the type of team we always thought we could be this season.”

Making a good night even better, Levis’ former Kentucky teammate Wan’Dale Robinson helped the New York Giants knock off the Green Bay Packers. Tommy DeVito’s 32-yard pass to Robinson set up the winning field goal. Robinson finished with 115 total yards, 79 receiving, 36 rushing.

Afterward, Robinson reflected on the moment, which comes almost one year to the day after he had surgery to repair a torn ACL, an injury that cut short the first 100-yard receiving game of his career.

So, it was a great night for former Cats. What about the current ones? It’s finals week on UK’s campus and we have to wait until Saturday to see Kentucky Basketball in action again, but there’s still plenty happening. From the transfer portal to John Calipari’s comments on his radio show last night, there’s a lot to talk about. Let’s get to it.

What will happen in the transfer portal today?

It was a wild opening week for the transfer portal, and we’re still keeping our heads on a swivel. Yesterday, Kentucky defensive back Elijah Reed entered the transfer portal, bringing the total number of Cats to do so to 14.

As far as who’s coming to Kentucky from the portal, former Wildcat quarterback Beau Allen announced he’s returning to Lexington after a stint at Georgia Southern. We’re also still waiting to hear from some big names who were on campus this past weekend, including running back Chip Trayanum (Ohio State), cornerback DeCarlos Nicholson (Mississippi State), and wide receivers Donaven McCulley (Indiana) and Ja’Mori Maclin (North Texas).

In the high school ranks, offensive lineman commit Jadon Lafontant flipped to Boston College. Nick Roush, Adam Luckett, Freddie Maggard, and Drew Franklin discussed that news and all the transfer portal happenings on a new episode of the KSR Football Podcast. If you missed it live, catch up below.

UNC prep continues — Will Ugo play?

John Calipari was on the recruiting trail yesterday but still called in for a few segments of his radio show. Jack Pilgrim has a rundown of the highlights for you, but the first piece of news was that Ugonna Onyenso will begin full-contact practice this week, and Calipari didn’t rule out him playing vs. North Carolina on Saturday.

The other notable comment from Cal was about Kentucky’s frontcourt. With Bradshaw and potentially Onyenso back (and Big Z whenever he is cleared by the NCAA), Calipari is still mulling over his lineups, specifically, how to use two bigs at once.

“What’s the best way of playing with two bigs? Do we space the corner with elbows? But see, our bigs can shoot threes, so you don’t have to go high-low and jam up the lane. It’s just different.”

While the thought of two seven-footers on the floor at once is a little triggering given the beautiful small ball we’ve seen in the past month, it’s good to see Cal recognize that jamming up the lane is not the way to go with this group.

Sources Say live at 8 p.m.

Jack Pilgrim and Shawn Smith will discuss Cal’s comments, the win over Penn, and Saturday’s game vs. the Tar Heels on a new episode of Sources Say tonight at 8 p.m. ET on the KSR YouTube Channel. Subscribe to the channel to receive a notification the exact second they go live. We just crossed the 25,000 subscribers mark, so help us keep that momentum rolling!

Weird TV Rec of the Week: “Love Has Won”

Looking for something different to watch this week? Shoutout to former KSR writer Ally Tucker, who suggested “Love Has Won” on HBO/Max. It’s a three-part docuseries about a cult that was led by Amy Carlson, aka “Mother God,” who believed she had been reincarnated as famous people throughout time, including Jesus, Joan of Arc, and Marilyn Monroe. That doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface of how crazy this story is. Just watch it.
