Another week of high school football across Kentucky means another update to KSR’s statewide Top 25 rankings.

Boyle County maintains the top spot after Week 4 action following an impressive 54-21 win over then-No. 6 Scott County to move to 3-0. The Cardinals dropped seven spots to number 13 as a result of the loss. Class 4A continues to impress with No. 1 Boyle County, No. 4. Corbin, and No. 8 Covington Catholic all staying in the top 10. Meanwhile, LCA moved up four spots after posting a 14-12 win over CAL, which dropped one spot to No. 10, in the battle of acronyms. Louisville head coach Brian Brohm was on hand to scout all the talent.

Elsewhere, Raceland moved up three spots with an impressive 7-6 road win at Pikeville, avenging a blowout loss to the Panthers in last year’s Class A state championship. Pikeville dropped six spots to number 22, falling to 0-2 against ranked teams. Other big movers in this week’s update include Highlands (+5), Bryan Station (+4), Bowling Green (+4), and Ballard (-5).

As a rankings note, no team in the top 25 is ranked below a team that they defeated. Check out the entirety of the updated Top 25 below, along with class-by-class rankings. Last week’s rankings can be found here.
