Last week, bad weather across the state made for a light slate of boys’ high school basketball, which resulted in minimal movement in our rankings update. But this time around, there was plenty of movement after a busy week of hoops, including a shakeup at the very top.

Great Crossing moved back to the top spot after picking up a 58-50 win over No. 3 Lexington Catholic, combined with Lyon County losing 50-48 to Newport in the All “A” Classic semifinals. Newport moved up three spots after defeating Evangel Christian 69-62 in overtime to win the small school state title.
