KSR's New Year's Eve Rapid Reaction to Kentucky beating the Brown Bears
Kentucky said goodbye to 2024 with a victory over Brown University in Rupp Arena on New Year’s Eve. The Wildcats’ first home game in more than two weeks came with a slow start, but Kentucky built a comfortable lead by halftime and extended that lead to a blowout by the game’s end, winning 88-54.
Andrew Carr was one of the stars in Rupp Arena’s 2024 finale. Carr carried the scoring in the beginning, tallying 14 points in the first half. Otega Oweh took over in the second, adding 11 of his 13 points after halftime.
The win moved the Wildcats to 11-2 on the season as the schedule turns from the non-conference slate to SEC play on Saturday. Before moving on to your New Year’s Eve celebration and a focus on the Southeastern Conference, join KSR with a postgame Rapid Reaction. This one is New Year’s Eve-themed.
