KSR's Rapid Reaction talked to upset Kentucky fans leaving the game early
Most Kentucky fans exited Kroger Field with time still on the clock in Kentucky’s disappointing loss to South Carolina on Saturday. Many left in the third quarter, with the Wildcats trailing 31-6 in the SEC opener. That would be the game’s final score.
Before the game even ended, KSR’s Rapid Reaction went into the parking lot to talk to fans on their way out. They were extremely disappointed, as you can imagine, given the game’s magnitude on the entire season and how poorly Kentucky looked as the betting favorite. The Big Blue Nation planned for a lopsided win in the series and a Saturday night celebration afterward, not a mass exodus with a quarter of football still to go. But the Gamecocks wrecked the Week 2 party in Lexington, beating the Wildcats in all phases from start to finish.
