KSR's Season-Ending Rapid Reaction From Indianapolis

Mark Pope’s first season at Kentucky came to a crashing end in Indianapolis at the hands of the Tennessee Vols. The heartbreaking Sweet 16 loss marked the end of the road for Big Blue Nation’s beloved Wildcats, a group that came together on the fly and won a school-record eight games against AP Top 15 teams but lost to its bitter rival in the final game.
The Vols dominated the Sweet 16 game from the beginning, winning 78-65 to earn a spot in the Elite Eight while Kentucky heads home. Now that it’s over and in the books, Drew Franklin, Jack Pilgrim, and Tyler Thompson are live from Lucas Oil Stadium with a Rapid Reaction to the defeat and the last game of the 2024-25 season.
