KSR's Steven Peake crashes out explaining why Indiana is not a blue blood

Steven Peake has been a staple of KSR the past several years, a magician with all things video and editing. You may have seen his most recent gem recapping Mark Pope’s debut season at Kentucky, starting from day one and finishing through the program’s first Sweet 16 since 2019. That was a lot of fun — check it out if you haven’t yet.

His content creation isn’t limited to documentary-style features, editing and producing, though, along with the occasional podcast or Rapid Reaction appearance. He’s pretty freaking good at creating content in the form of passionate rants, too. You’re probably aware of his obsession and hatred of the Wilson EVO NXT basketball, the Louisville Cardinals and Kentucky’s injury history. What you didn’t know is he’s also got some takes on the Indiana Hoosiers that will take you out of your seat.

He joined Nick Roush and TJ Walker on Wednesday’s edition of Kentucky Roll Call to get some things off his chest, specifically following the victory lap Indiana fans have taken since beating out Kentucky for Sam Houston State transfer Lamar Wilkerson.

Did you know the Hoosiers have two No. 1 seeds and one Final Four since 1990? Did you also know that in the last decade, they have three NCAA Tournament wins? How about the fact that you have to blow the dust off of the Betamax tapes to watch the program’s most recent national title? He covered it all, explaining why Indiana is “just Iowa with candy cane pants.”
