Lamont Butler and Jaxson Robinson returned to practice for Kentucky: "We're hopeful about both of them."

When will Lamont Butler and Jaxson Robinson return from injury for Kentucky? Mark Pope provided a big-time update on both players during his call-in radio show Monday evening.
With four games left in the regular season for the Wildcats, Butler (shoulder) and Robinson (wrist) both returned to practice in a limited capacity to open the week, Pope describing it as ‘modified’ participation.
“Lamont and Jaxson were both in practice — they had modified practice, which is a good thing,” he said. “Kind of every day right now, it’s just — we know something from today about how much of the practice they were able to get through. With both of them, we’re going to know so much more in the morning, because it’s just, ‘How’s Jaxson’s wrist responding? How is Lamont’s shoulder responding?'”
We’ll learn more about that in the coming days, but until then, how did both players look Monday? Pope was pleased with their production. Even in a limited capacity, it’s clear the Wildcats are making much-needed progress as they work toward a return as the regular season wraps up.

“It’s about how they respond the next day and they were actually pretty functional in the limited work that they did today. Certainly, they’re both on the uptick,” Pope said. “We’re hopeful about both of them. I don’t know if either of them are going to be able to get to 100% health before the end of the season, but they’re making progress, so we’re really hopeful.”
Robinson has been out since Kentucky’s win over South Carolina on Feb. 8 while Butler has not played since the Tennessee win on Feb. 11.
Time will tell if either of the Wildcats will be good to go at Oklahoma on Wednesday and beyond, but for now, progress is being made as both players return to practice.
Massive news, folks.
